Wet baths are usually not as accommodating for older persons, as cleaning up a wet bath in a small travel trailer could be a hassle if they need to bend down, something older people may not be able to do well. But this is actually a minor inconvenience when you consider the other amenities a trailer offers.
Wet baths require simply wiping down the floor with a mop and the walls with paper towels after each use, and it should be done after every use. These areas are very easy to maintain and they do not take away from the overall openness a small travel trailer provides. It only takes a few moments to wipe down the wet bath area and once you have done that, then you are free to go on your merry way for the rest of the day and enjoy your vacation.
If a wet bath is something that will make or break your choice of small travel trailer, then you are going to want to make sure you examine each trailer in person. If you want a small trailer with a wet bath, look and see whether or not the wet bath takes up a large amount of room or not. Travel trailers without wet baths tend to be roomier than ones with a wet bath, but if you are going for privacy and prefer to bathe every day, then the excess space in the trailer taken up by the wet bath will not be a burden.
Some of the most popular camping trailers with wet baths include: the Dutchman T@DA (Tah-Dah) at around 16’5” long that includes an integrated toilet and optional shower accommodations; the Eggcamper at 17’ and lightweight; and the Hi-Lo Sporty TowLite that is only 15’ long and supposedly the ‘safest travel trailer in the world’ with over 50 years of manufacturing behind it.
